People often email me to let me know that they would really like learn how to play guitar, but they just don’t know where to start. That is why I created these beginner guitar lessons. They are for aspiring guitarists who have always wanted to play, but just haven't done it yet.
There are many people who are naturally going to doubt that they have the ability to play the guitar. Put your doubts aside. Your hands are not too big, they are not too small, you are not too young, you are not too old, and it does not matter if you are going to be playing the electric or acoustic guitar. Everyone has their own particular challenges, but I’m confident that if you put your mind to it and practice you can have success playing the guitar.
I’ve made sure to cover all of the most important tools and concepts you are going to need in order to have success with the guitar. We are going to cover things that aren’t necessarily related to actually playing like: how to tune the guitar, holding the guitar, and parts of the guitar. After that we will go over the most important parts of playing such as how to strum the guitar, your first chords, and how to play your first song.
By the end of these twelve guitar lessons you’re going to be able to strum and play enough chords to learn some great songs. That’s going to be very motivating for you. You’re going to have a solid foundation, and you’re going to know what you need to work on next.
